The North American Lutheran Church (NALC) presents, Come!, an Advent devotional booklet for 2021 written by the executive staff. This year's devotional is based on the two-year daily lectionary provided in the North American Church's Devoted to Prayer daily prayer and reading guide, which is also an adapted version of the daily lectionary in the Lutheran Book of Worship, Year II. We pray the Scriptures, reflections and prayers in this devotional will deepen the Advent journey.

There are several ways to access the 2021 Advent devotional: download a copy or receive daily messages. For details on how to access this Advent devotional, visit

NEW...Women's Evening Bible Study at 6:30pm

Understand Jesus More Deeply by Studying First-Century History and Culture

Please join us in the Fellowship Hall on Thursday, December 9th at 6:30pm for our Women’s Bible Study group. Imagine walking the dusty roads of Galilee with Jesus of Nazareth—braving jostling crowds just to touch the edge of His cloak and hear Him say, "Take heart, daughter, your faith has healed you." - Matthew 9:22.

Those words, once meant to comfort a hurting woman’s soul thousands of years ago, were also meant for you. We’ll study with biblical culturalist Kristi McLelland on those dusty roads as she transports us back to Jesus' world, stepping into the footsteps of the women who came face to face with the living God. We’ll examine the historical and cultural climate of first-century Middle Eastern society to not only understand Jesus more deeply but to fuel our worship of Him today. Contact Sheri Brown with any questions.
