Helpline House

School Backpack Project

Please donate.

Helpline House will gladly take any school supplies that we have already assembled. However, a greater need for them beyond school supplies is lunch bags & boxes for grades K-4.

Please bring your school supplies, lunch bags, and lunch boxes to the Fellowship Hall before Monday, August 21.

Your donations will be delivered to Helpline House on Monday, August 21. Thank you for your generosity.

Faith & Family Day with the Mariners!

On Saturday, August 26, faith, family and baseball will be brought together yet again with a great ticket offer that includes a giveaway and a special postgame Q&A and musical performance! Here’s how you can join in the celebration:

First, snag specially-priced $26 main level and $16 view level seats as the Mariners take on the Royals for a matinee matchup. During the game, stop by and grab your limited-edition Mariners-themed Faith and Family T-shirt to commemorate the day. After the game, stick around for a performance by the Canyon Hills Community Church Band and participate in a player Q&A with Mariners players including Logan Gilbert, Ty France, and Cade Marlow.

Time is running out to lock in your seats for this special day of baseball action and spiritual reflection. Secure your tickets today!

SUNDAY AM BIBLE STUDY!

Pastor Gary Jensen leads a Bible Study on Sunday mornings, from 9:30am-10:15am. As things currently stand, the Gospel of Christ is being relentlessly dismissed as being effectively a fairy tale.  Yet that charge is easily shown to be entirely false.  On the contrary much of the evidence for the existence of the God of the Bible is both astonishingly strong and easy to grasp.  In order to assist in equipping Christians to "give a reason for the hope that is in us" (1 Peter 3:15), Pastor Gary will be leading a class on Sunday mornings in the fellowship hall from 9:30-10:15 am that will be based on his booklet, "God's Prints are Everywhere," which every attendee will receive free of charge.  This class will begin on June 18 and conclude soon.  We encourage you to avail yourself of this opportunity!

Women's Evening Bible Study (In person only)

We gather on the second Thursday each month at 6:30pm

Join biblical culturalist Kristi McLelland in this “Gospel on the Ground” 7-session study as she unpacks the life of the early church in the book of Acts and shows us that the kingdom of God is always on the move, always looking outward to bring meaning and joy to a world searching for true fulfillment and hope.  Explore the call of Jesus to His disciples then, and to us now as His disciples today, the way God’s Word can sustain us even in the most difficult of times, and the transformative grace that we experience as children of God in His kingdom of celebration.

Contact Sheri Brown with any questions you may have or if you'd like a ride.

(We understand many don't like to drive after dark!)
